Anne Of The Island – İngilizce Klasik Roman
After Davy had gone to bed Anne wandered down to Victoria Island and sat there alone, curtained with fine-spun, moonlit gloom, while the water laughed around her in a duet of brook and wind. Anne had always loved that brook. Many a dream had she spun over its sparkling water in days gone by. She forgot lovelorn youths, and the cayenne speeches of malicious neighbors, and all the problems of her girlish existence. In imagination she sailed over storied seas that wash the distant shining shores of “faery lands forlorn,” where lost Atlantis and Elysium lie, with the evening star for pilot, to the land of Heart’s Desire. And she was richer in those dreams than in realities; for things seen pass away, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
Anne Of Avonlea – İngilizce Klasik Roman
‘‘I think I understand what you mean,” said Anne thoughtfully, “and I know I have so much to feel thankful for ... oh, so much ... my work, and Paul Irving, and the dear twins, and all my friends. Do you know, Mrs. Allan, I’m so thankful for friendship. It beautifies life so much.’’
‘‘True friendship is a very helpful thing indeed,” said Mrs. Allan, “and we should have a very high ideal of it, and never sully it by any failure in truth and sincerity. I fear the name of friendship is often degraded to a kind of intimacy that has nothing of real friendship in it.’’

Stage-3 1984 – İngilizce Hikaye
War Is Peace
Freedom Is Slavery
Ignorance Is Strength
1984 was written by George Orwell in the year 1948, and is his idea of what the future might be like, 36 years later, in 1984.
1984 is a story about a man named Winston Smith. He is a man who is living in what was once England, but is now a scary place controlled by Big Brother. Big Brother is always watching.
There are cameras spying on Winston everywhere he goes. Even in the privacy of his own home there is no privacy.
Winston knows that it isn’t right, but can’t do anything about it because even to have a bad thought against the government is a thought crime. Winston writes down some of his thoughts and ideas in a notebook. This is also a crime and Winston knows that he could be punished for it, but he does it anyway. The more he writes down the more he begins to understand and remember.
But, how much can he really ever understand?

All Animals Are Equal
But Some Animals Are More Equal
Than Others
This story takes place on a farm in England. The animals of Manor Farm work too hard for the farmer Mr. Jones and they do not get much back in return for all of their work.
A wise pig named Old Major calls the animals together to give them a speech and to tell them about his dream. That is the start of the revolution. The animals decide that they will have better lives if they run the farm by themselves. They chase the humans away and write their own rules for their new farm: Animal Farm. They learn how to do everything by themselves. They even learn some human skills too like reading and writing.
But, will life on Animal Farm really be better than it was on Manor Farm? Will the animals really work less and have more? Will they really have more freedom? Or will things be worse than before?
Hamlet – İngilizce Klasik Roman
I will tell you why; so shall my anticipation prevent your discovery, and your secrecy to the King and Queen moult no feather. I have of late, but wherefore I know not, lost all my mirth, forgone all custom of exercises; and indeed, it goes so heavily with my disposition that this goodly frame the earth, seems to me a sterile promontory; this most excellent canopy the air, look you, this brave o’erhanging firmament, this majestical roof fretted with golden fire, why, it appears no other thing to me than a foul and pestilent congregation of vapours. What a piece of work is man! How noble in reason? How infinite in faculties, in form and moving, how express and admirable? In action how like an angel? In apprehension, how like a god? The beauty of the world, the paragon of animals. And yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust? Man delights not me; no, nor woman neither, though by your smiling you seem to say so..
The Art Of War – İngilizce Klasik Roman
• Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him.
• If he is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him.
• If your opponent is of choleric temper, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant.
• If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them.
• Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.
• These military devices, leading to victory, must not be divulged beforehand.
The Sign Of Four Sherlock Holmes – İngilizce Klasik Roman
“My mind,” he said, “rebels at stagnation. Give me problems, give me work, give me the most abstruse cryptogram or the most intricate analysis, and I am in my own proper atmosphere. I can dispense then with artificial stimulants. But I abhor the dull routine of existence. I crave for mental exaltation. That is why I have chosen my own particular profession, or rather created it, for I am the only one in the world.”

However, after winning a good deal of money, his love for Polina Alexandrovna takes a back seat. He becomes completely submissive to roulette and its turn of chance. Consequently, he comes to the conclusion that roulette is the only way of acquiring money and social status. Events are unfolding in the north of England, in Wuthering Heights. Once a long time ago, Mr Earnshaw brings to his house a gipsy-like boy, with black hair and dark eyes. Despite his wife’s objections, Mr Earnshaw adopts this boy, giving him only one name – Heathcliff. His children now, Catherine and Hindley, must share their father’s love with Heathcliff. When his love for Catherine is not returned, he suddenly escapes from Wuthering Heights.
Many years later, Heathcliff comes back to Wuthering Heights as a wealthy, handsome man, who wants to avenge his former childhood sufferings. Chess – İngilizce Klasik Roman
“But why wouldn’t such a rapid rise to fame send an empty head like that into a spin?” concluded my friend, who had just related some classic examples of Czentovic’s childishly authoritative manner. “Why wouldn’t a twenty - one - year - old country boy from the Banat start putting on airs when pushing some pieces around on a wooden board is suddenly earning him more in a week than his whole village back home makes in an entire year of woodcutting and the most backbreaking drudgery? And, actually, isn’t it damn easy to think you’re a great man if you aren’t troubled by the slightest notion that a Rembrandt, Beethoven, Dante, or Napoleon ever existed? This lad has just one piece of knowledge in his blinkered brain—that he hasn’t lost a single chess game in months—and since he has no idea that there’s anything of value in the world other than chess and money, he has every reason to be pleased with himself.”
Stage-2 Robinson Crusoe – İngilizce Hikaye

Stage-5 A Tale Of Two Cities – İngilizce Hikaye

His life seems to go better: his haunted fears and memories are quietened down, his daughter gets married and he works as a doctor in London. But their mutual happiness is not destined to last long. The Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes – İngilizce Klasik Roman
“Circumstantial evidence is a very tricky thing,” answered Holmes thoughtfully. “It may seem to point very straight to one thing, but if you shift your own point of view a little, you may find it pointing in an equally uncompromising manner to something entirely different. It must be confessed, however, that the case looks exceedingly grave against the young man, and it is very possible that he is indeed the culprit. There are several people in the neighbourhood, however, and among them Miss Turner, the daughter of the neighbouring landowner, who believe in his innocence, and who have retained Lestrade, whom you may recollect in connection with the Study in Scarlet, to work out the case in his interest. Lestrade, being rather puzzled, has referred the case to me, and hence it is that two middle aged gentlemen are flying westward at fifty miles an hour instead of quietly digesting their breakfasts at home.”
A Study İn Scarlet – İngilizce Klasik Roman
“I consider that a man’s brain originally is like a little empty attic, and you have to stock it with such furniture as you choose. A fool takes in all the lumber of every sort that he comes across, so that the knowledge which might be useful to him gets crowded out, or at best is jumbled up with a lot of other things, so that he has a difficulty in laying his hands upon it. Now the skillful workman is very careful indeed as to what he takes into his brain-attic. He will have nothing but the tools which may help him in doing his work, but of these he has a large assortment, and all in the most perfect order. It is a mistake to think that that little room has elastic walls and can distend to any extent. Depend upon it there comes a time when for every addition of knowledge you forget something that you knew before. It is of the highest importance, therefore, not to have useless facts elbowing out the useful ones.”
Stage-6 David Copperfield – İngilizce Hikaye
The story is presented in the first person. David Copperfield tells about his uneasy life from his childhood till the present time in his book. He begins his story from the day of his birth: when his aunt visits his poor widowed mother and then left it angrily afterwards, knowing that a boy was born instead of a girl. David lives very happily with his mother and nurse at first. But then, unfortunately, his mother marries a fierce man whose hatred towards David has no boundaries. Shortly afterwards, his mother dies and he becomes an orphan with unknown future. Nevertheless, he achieves great success, finds good friends and true love in his life. Hard moments are mixed with unforgettable events and emotions. David learns to see life in its true colours and keep his hope in any desperate situation. However unbearable his difficulties may be, he overcomes them desperately and steadily. This story shows us the purity of heart, kindness of soul, power of intentions, and greatness of dreams…
Pride & Prejudice – İngilizce Klasik Roman
“I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look, or the words, which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun.” “My beauty you had early withstood, and as for my manners—my behaviour to you was at least always bordering on the uncivil, and I never spoke to you without rather wishing to give you pain than not. Now be sincere; did you admire me for my impertinence?” “For the liveliness of your mind, I did.”
